There are also the biographical entries in Volume II of Goodrich and Fang's
Dictionary of Ming Biography on the Chinese admiral Chén Lin, the Ming
commanders Li Ju-sung and Liu Ting, and the Japanese commander Konishi
Yukinaga, as well as the latter part of my essay on Ming Korean relations in
Volume 8 of the Cambridge History of China, whose citations point to essays
by Gari Ledyard and others on the Korean side.
