PROFESSOR IN KOREAN STUDIES

Stanford University seeks candidates for a tenured faculty as Professor in
Korean Studies, jointly held in the School of Humanities and Sciences and
the Institute for International Studies (IIS). The following departments are
co-sponsoring the search: Cultural and Social Anthropology, Economics,
History, Political Science, and Sociology. The successful candidate,
someone for whom Korea is
a principal focus of academic research, will be expected to provide
leadership for the development of the study of Korea at Stanford and of
research on
contemporary Korea through the Asia/Pacific Research Center, and teach at
the graduate and undergraduate levels. Applicants should send CV, bibliography,
