"Rare audio recordings have been found to present aural[sic] histories
provided by 120 people closely involved in Japan's colonization of the
Korean Peninsula before and during World War II. "

"The recordings are about 800 hours of transcription on 418 open-reel tapes.
They present statements by about 30 former administrators at the
Government-General of Korea, which ruled the peninsula from annexation in
1910 until Japan's defeat in World War II in August 1945."
