KOREA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS IN KOREAN STUDIES at SOAS

Applicantions are invited for these Scholarships which ar open to those
proposing to register at School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS),
University of London, for a full-time taught Master's or research degree in
Korean Studies. Students will work in one or more of the following subject
areas:

	Anthropoligy
	Art and Archaeology
	Economics
	History
	Literature
	Language and Linguistics
	Music
	Politics

Applicants must hold a good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant
discipline and have a demonstrated ability in Korean language. The value of
the Scholarships will be the minimum of a bursary of =A35200 per year plus
remission of fees at the UK/EU rate. Scholarships for the taught Master's
will be  for 12 calendar months and those for Phil/PhD scholarships will be
tenable for up to three years in total, subject to satisfactory progress.
