According to the M-R system,  it should be Tan'gun.  Tangun would be 
pronounced 'tang un'.  The same goes for Han'guk and Han'gUl (the capital U 
representing the u with a breve).  So Chungang is correct.  If an author uses 
both in an article, more likely than not, Tangun is a typo. An apostrophe can 
so easily be omitted, if one is not careful.
