Dear Ms. Deutch,
Further to Prof. Clark's correction, I would like to point out that the 
mountain on Kanghwa-do is pronounced 'Mani-san', not 'Mari-san' (please refer 
to Han'guk minjok munhwa tae paekkwa sajOn, pp.524-525, among other things).  
The Tan'gun Academic House also sounds a little awkward, for the shrine 
situated there.  
For a  discussion of the shrine and the biographical details of the deified 
personages whose pictures are displayed there, please refer to my book 
entitled, Korean Shamanism and Cultural Nationalism, published in 1999 by 
Chimmundang, 
Chapter 6 (especially, 6.4. Is the Tan'gun Myth an Invention of Tradition?, 
pp 365-369).
