Thank you, Gene.  Very good ideas.

The petition has been tweaked further, but I wish to hold on at least a
couple of days before going forward with it.  The reason being, we may still
have a chance to get the flag back without going completely public with it.
For the most part, just members of this list are 'in the know' about this
'crusade', so far.  If the quiet method doesn't pan out, then we can go
forward with the petition.  I'll keep you all informed as to how it goes.
