You can still get at it for free via the Washington Post's search page:

Enter "no gun ri," check the "AP" box, and set the dates for May 15-May 16.

"AP Responds to No Gun Ri Questions" should appear three times, along with
AP Exec Editor Wolman's brief statement.  It just worked (again) for me.  
But don't delay; they're only free for two weeks, so you've only got a few
days.
