Dear list,

My Japanese art history professor, Greg Levine, at the University of
California, Berkeley wonders whether there might be Korean references in any
written documentary to the practice of "airing" (sunning and drying)records,
paintings, and texts, etc.-- a topic he is currently writing about in the
context of Japan.

For example, how, how often, do we "airing" the Buddhist sutras?

If you can come with any informative material, please email me at
noul98 at hotmail.com
or Greg at gplevine at uclink4.berkeley.edu
If you need more explanation on the idea of "airing," please let me know.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Joanne Kim
