Dear Colleagues,

The May meeting of the Chosenshi Kenkyukai will be held Saturday, May 19. 
This month's speakers, in Japanese, are below.

Research Presentation:
An SoyOng.  "America's Far East Policy during World War II: Focusing on the 
Japan Experts in the Department of State and the 'Korea Problem'"

Book Review:
Song YOnok.  "Ianfu to senba no sei," by Hata Ikuhiko (Tokyo: Shinchousha, 
1999).


The meeting will be held at the Kanda campus of Senshuu University, in Room 
206, from 1:30 pm.  Senshuu University is near Kudanshita station (exit 5) 
and Jinbochou station (exit A2), and is a short walk from the used 
bookstore district called Kanda or Jinbochou.
