The Department of Art History at University of Southern California seeks
applications for a new, tenure-track Assistant Professorship in Korean art
history and visual culture, beginning August 2002.  Applicants with an
interest in East Asian Studies producing innovative work in any period of
Korean art history are welcome.  A strong commitment to scholarly research
and to undergraduate and graduate teaching is expected (teaching
experience and publications
are preferred). Ph.D. preferred.  Both domestic and overseas candidates
are encouraged to apply.
