Dear Colleagues,

The December meeting of the Kindai Chousen chiikishika kenkyuukai will be 
held Monday, December 16, from 4:00 pm, in the Basement Meeting Room at 
Bunka Center Arirang.

This month's presentation, in Japanese, will be offered by Yoshizawa 
Kayoko, a PhD student at Hitotsubashi University.  The title of her talk is 
"The Japanese Principle of Building a Country on an Agricultural Economy 
and Colonial Korea: Yamazaki Enkichi's Education of Korean Peasants in the 
1920s and 1930s"

Bunka Center Arirang is located in the city of Kawaguchi, in Saitama 
Prefecture, and is about seven minutes by foot from the JR Nishi Kawaguchi 
station.
