Dear Colleagues,

The February meeting of the Chosenshi Kenkyukai will be held Saturday, 
February 23.  This month's presentations, to be offered in Japanese, are 
below.


Research Presentation 1:
Itou Shunsuke.  "The Introduction of the New Police System in Late 
Nineteenth Century ChosOn"

Research Presentation 2:
Sassa Mitsuaki.  "A Preface to Research on People's Religions in Modern 
ChosOn: On Tangun-kyo during the Colonial Period"


The meeting will be held at the Kanda campus of Senshuu University, near 
the Kudanshita and Jinbochou stations.  It begins at 1:30 pm in Room 206.
