Just to this last point (again):
All new Microsoft fonts now include all the brèves and other 
extravaganza. And all Macintosh fonts do since OS 7.6 (only that they 
cannot yet be accessed by all Mac programs). If you have a *new* 
e-mail program and set your encoding to Unicode you should be able to 
communicate with a hundred different scripts all in one e-mail if you 
wish .... even in McCune-Reischaueren.
