Dear Colleagues,

The July meeting of the Kindai Chousen chiikishika kenkyuukai will be held 
Tuesday, July 22, from 4:00 pm, in the Basement Meeting Room at Bunka 
Center Arirang.

This month's presentation, in Japanese, will be offered by Lee Jin-hee. 
The title of her presentation, which is scheduled for 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, is 
"Re-Membering the Massacred in the Metropolis: Historical Representations 
of the 1923 Colonial Violence in Korea".

Bunka Center Arirang (telephone: 048-259-2381) is located in Kawaguchi, 
Saitama Prefecture, and is about fifteen minutes by foot from the JR Nishi 
Kawaguchi station.
