The Intercultural Institute of California invites
applications for a full-time position in Korean
studies at the rank of Assistant Professor. 
Candidates should have a Ph.D. with preference given
to those applicants specializing in Korean history,
literature, sociology, or political science.  Teaching
experience at the graduate level is preferred, as is
familiarity with distance learning.  Interested
parties should send a letter of application together
with a CV, three reference letters, evidence of
teaching excellence, and sample publications to:

California, 1362 Post Street, San Francisco, CA 94109.
 Applications must be submitted by April 30, 2003. 
The IIC (http://www.iic.edu/) is a private institution
located in San Francisco and offers Masters degrees in
Korean studies and teaching Korean as a foreign
language.
