[KS] Korean Studies Review - administrivia and apology

Dear all,

Many of you may have noticed the absence of reviews in the KSR series during 2003, and for this I  offer my sincere apology.  A sabbatical the first half of the year, followed by a new position upon return with an onerous workload, continually pushed my KSR editorial duties to the back burner.  I have now decided to simply let the rest of 2003 go, but I will begin preparing reviews for appearance on the Koreanstudies list and for archiving on the web early in 2004; I'll also be posting a list of books available for review at that point, and I promise to do my best to make the rejuvenated KSR better than ever.

In the meantime, it would be a great help to me if the many of you who owe reviews could get them in soon and save me from having to chase you up.  For those who are new to Korean Studies Review and would like to see the archived reviews that appeared between 1998-2002, please go to <http://koreaweb.ws/ks/ksr/>.
