Dear Colleagues,

Recent conversations suggest that certain bibliographic tools for Korean
history are perhaps not as well known as they deserve. Bibliographies of
books and articles on Korean history published in Japan may be found in the
annual print issue of "Chousenshi kenkyuukai ronbunshuu" and in certain of
the monthly issues of "Shigaku zasshi." The former bibliography also may
be accessed via the Chousenshi Kenkyuukai's homepage. Please click the URL
below, then click on the line that reads (here romanized as) "Sengo Nihon
ni okeru Chousenshi bunken mokuroku (deetabeesu-ban)". You will arrive at
a page that offers two choices for searches, books ("Tankoubon-hen no
kensaku gamen") and articles/book chapters ("Ronbun-hen no kensaku gamen").
Searches may be performed by keyword(s), author, or journal name.
Functions that further narrow the search also are available.

The Kenkyuukai's homepage, which is managed by Mizuno Naoki, of Kyoto
University, also provides other databases that may be of value to this
listserve's members.
