POSCO Asian Fellowship at Korea GSIS

 

*Only Indian students are eligible to apply 



Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) of Korea University is pleased to announce that we are soliciting applications for two-year master’s program that will start in September 2006. GSIS has International Studies and Korean Studies Departments, and the International Studies Department has five tracks of concentration: International Commerce, International Finance, International E-Commerce, International Organization, and International Security. Five select students from India will be offered the POSCO Asian Fellowship at Korea GSIS kindly provided by the POSCO TJ Park Foundation. The Fellowship covers full tuition and monthly stipends of one million Korean Won which is equivalent roughly to 1,000 US$. The annual Fellowship is renewable for the duration of the student’s study in the Masters program at Korea University GSIS, pending on satisfactory academic performance.

 

Students interested in the program are strongly encouraged to apply, and the application is due by May 1st. Finalists may be asked for an interview in mid May. Application should include the following materials: (1) application form, (2) letter of application that explains academic backgrounds, interested research areas, and future plans after graduation, (3) curriculum vitae, and (4) university transcript. Three letters of recommendation as well as the required materials should be directly sent to:
