[KS] Natural disaster in North Korea

Dear list members,

The local press in North East England has just come up with evidence for
considerable loss of life in North Korea stemming from typhoon Bilis in July,
which I don't remember seeing reported elsewhere in the press at the time
(though I may be wrong?). One report, from the newspaper Northern Echo, is online at

Has it, as one reporter claims, been hushed up, or have other people already
