Dear Ms. Luengo: Although a bit long in the tooth, there is a book that
deals almost exclusively with the Sokchon Taeje: Spencer J. Palmer.
Confucian Rituals in Korea. Seoul (Berkeley): Po Chin Chai Ltd. (Asian
Humanities Press), 1986. It has short chapters dealing with the historical
background, buildings and grounds, architectural decorations, the Sokchon
ceremony, sacrificial offerings, ritual music, ritual dance, ceremonial
attire, images and spirit tablets, many plates of pictures, and so forth.
