They might want to check out www.keep.org
They do their programs in the summer, and although the program itself is not
an internship, people have been able to find ways of volunteering through
the exposure program, which introduces people to various movements and
non-profit groups in South Korea.
I hope this helps.

>Dear Colleagues,
>I am writing to see if anyone on the listserve can help identify
>organizations that coordinate internships, volunteer opportunities or
>service learning in Korea. Some of my students (undergraduates) are looking
>for internships in Korea that last at least six weeks. The nature of
>internships can vary, but ideally they should be programs that give
>students opportunities to get a close look at Korean society and culture,
>to communicate in Korean, and hopefully to encourage them to pursue
>academic or professional careers involving Korea.
>I would greatly appreciate any information you can offer. My e-mail address
>is hchoi at asu.edu.
>Many thanks,
