An interesting subject. The list might be interested in the following note - the paper referred to will also appear in a two volume selection from the Papers of the British Association for Korean Studies,? which is due out in a couple of months.

Japanese interest and involvement in the Korean art market during the colonial period has already been touched on. In the context of Yanagi Soetsu, Dr Y. Kikuchi's paper on 'Yanagi Soetsu and Korean crafts within the Mingei movement' was published in 1994 in volume 5 of the Papers of the British Association for Korean Studies. Dr Kikuchi is currently a senior research fellow at the Chelsea College of Art and Design, London.
