[KS] Teaching Positions in Hanyang University's Summer Program 2008

Hanyang University in Seoul is currently seeking both established professors and junior scholars from Korea and abroad for its International Summer Program, which will run from June 23 to July 18, 2008. The program aims to attract both domestic and foreign students by offering a wide range of transferable undergraduate courses in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities, including a number of courses in the field of Korean Studies. All courses in the summer program will be conducted in English.

Instructors coming from abroad will be provided with the following:

1) Up to $1000 towards round-trip air-fare to Korea
2) Free accommodation for the duration of the program
3) Generous compensation (determined on the basis of teaching experience and teaching load)

Those who are interested in teaching in Hanyang University’s International Summer Program should apply by sending an email message, stating the course titles (maximum two) that they are interested in teaching, along
with a current CV, to Ms. You Sooeem (yous at hanyang.ac.kr). All applicants should have a Ph.D. (or at least be A.B.D.) in an area related to the course(s) for which they are applying. Decisions concerning course assignments should be made sometime toward the end of February; successful applicants will be contacted by email.
