Deadline: AAS NEAC Fall grants for Korea and Japan

AAS has announced the deadline for the fall round of grants for Korean

and Japanese Studies to be October 1, 2009.  Applications must be received in Ann Arbor by October 1.

 

Please take advantage of the Japan and Korea grant opportunities

available from the Northeast Asia Council (NEAC) of the Association for Asian Studies(AAS). The fall deadline is fast approaching: all applications must arrive at the AAS office in Ann Arbor, Michigan by October 1, 2009. The application process is relatively simple and there are a variety of categories in which to apply for funds.  These include grants for research travel to sites in the U.S., Japan, or Korea; small conferences; projects that enhance teaching; instructional materials; and more.  Please examine categories and some restrictions by following the AAS website link below.
