Translator Positions (Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, English, French, Russian)

Jeung San Do Research Institute seeks to fill translator positions for Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, English, French, Russian publications. 
Jeung San Do is a spiritual movement founded in Korea. Jeung San Do Research Institute in Daejeon, South Korea, conducts research into teachings of Jeung San Doand by publishing academic work and a variety of translated material contributesto globalizationof the teachings all around the world. 
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The positionsof Spanish translator, Hindi translator, Arabic translator, English translator, French translator and Russian translatorentailtranslation of various works (from Korean to Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, English, French or Russian); revision of translated works;producing original composition;creating promotional material; proofreading;research; and any other tasksrelated to publication of Spanish, Hindi,Arabic, English, French and Russian materials. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
·         Post-graduate work in writingor literature (Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, English, French or Russian),Eastern studies, Korean studies, or journalism.
·         Extensive experience with translation/editing/writing (Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, English, French or Russian), referencing style manuals.
·         Published translated writings in printed and/or electronic media.
·         Excellent understanding of the Korean language.
·         Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and in teams. 
·         Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
·         Good computer skills, proficient in MS Word and a variety of e-mail and Internet applications. 
·         Willingness and ability to work and live ina foreign culture.Must work in Daejeon, South Korea.
 
SALARY: 
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
 
HOURS:
9am – 6pm (M-F)
 
BENEFITS: 
Rent-free accommodations, round-trip airfare, health insurance, four-week’s paid vacation, and a retirement benefit equal to one month’s salary for every full year of employment.
