Dear Ms. Gubic,
Being located at Heidelberg, you might wish to contact the Korean
Studies Department at Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum. - The usually very
helpful colleagues have been working on several of the issues you
addresed (also in a project on the circulation of knowledge).
Sincerely,
joerg plassen
p.s.:
May I ask you who is your supervisor? - To my best knowledge, there is
no KS department at Heidelberg yet. Also, there are only a handful of KS
scholars who have the necessary background in Early ChosOn, KoryO and
Silla writing systems to be able to tackle such an ambitious "through
the ages" project.

This interest then inevitably includes glossaries and dictionaries made for interpreters (but also, for example, for reading Ming/Qing Chinese novels), and the phenomenon of numerous 'onhae' explanatory books.
