I wanted to let list members know of our upcoming search in Korean
literature. We are considering any historical period, with some
preference for candidates with comparative approaches, broadly
conceived. For more information about Asia related programs and

Boston University's Department of Modern Languages and Comparative
Literature (MLCL) seeks a Comparative Literature scholar with
expertise in Korean literature to begin September 1, 2011 (pending
final budgetary approval). Specialization within Korean literature
open. Required: Ph.D. at time of appointment and native or near-
native proficiency in both Korean and English, ability to teach a
broad array of undergraduate courses in Korean, East Asian and
Comparative Literature, and demonstration of continuing commitment to
literary research. Additional expertise in Korean cinema and/or
visual culture is also welcomed. Please submit letter of application
