[KS] pre-1895 Korean grammar

Dear Kevin, Ross, and All:

It seems that the Scottish protestant John Ross (1842-1915) would not
so easily refer to a publication of the competing Catholic
missionaries -- catching souls was always a very competitive
business. He very likely referred to his own grammar, published in
1882, and there seems to have been an earlier 1880 edition of it that
is lost. It is available in a 1979 Korean reprint, see below:

Title: Korean speech : with grammar and vocabulary / by John Ross
Author: Ross, John *1842-1915*
Edition: [Reprint of the ed.] Shanghai and Hongkong: Kelly & Walsh, 1882.
Published: 1979 = 1882

Issued with: Seoul : T'ap Ch'ulp'ansa, 1979

Note that John Ross was the first translator of the New Testament --
this grammar was a side product of that work.

Best,
Frank
