Yes, and the 'monks' who donned their robes at the 'temple' newly  
built near the Diamond Mountain hotel complex as our two buses of  
international poets arrived for a bit of a climb, a few years ago.

Yes, and don't those mass games look the same, details aside, year  
after year?

Well, but what about those vast arrays of soldiers marching down the  
wide boulevards?  Don't they look the same?

Probably everybody on the list has already noticed the themes of  
performance and presentation, and the likelihood that some planning  
committee keeps reporting that if people are going to keep paying to  
make the visit, the show had better be the same, and a good one.

Does one also detect a certain level of frustration verging on or past  
exasperation?
