Dear Colleagues,

I have written and would like to write more about the mosaic murals in Kaeson station, but I have not had a chance to visit this station. I have been relying on excellent photographs taken by recent visitors, as it is now on tourist itineraries.

This morning I noticed that photos identified or I have been identifying as Kaeson station have very different light fixtures:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/zaruka/4921560935/in/photostream/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/michael_wood/5831485557/ and show two rows of chandeliers with inverted tulip-shaped lamps.

However, the photographs of Kaeson station in the Pyongyang Metro booklet (the one you buy in the Metro) show the station with a long, strip of lights that runs down the center of the ceiling. And this is what as you see in this video: http://www.flickr.com/photos/47550992@N08/4365318912/

Can anyone tell me if I have conflated two stations with similar mosaics? If so, which one is Kaeson station and what is the name of the other one?

Thanks.

Marsha
