Dear Colleagues,

The January meeting of the Chousenshi Kenkyuukai will be held Saturday,
January 22 at the University of Tokyo. This month's speakers, who will

Katou Hiroto. "The Selection of T'aejong, the Buddhism-abolishing King,
in the Early Choson Period"

Book Review:
Inoue Atsushi. "Chousen jukyou no tokushitsu to gendai Kankoku: Ri Taikei,
Ri Rikkoku kara Boku Seiki made," by Hen Eikou [PyOn YOngho], (Tokyo:
Kurein, 2010).


The meeting will begin at 1:30 pm in Nougakubu Bldg. 1, Third floor, Room
9 at the Hongou campus of the University of Tokyo. The Hongou campus is
located near the Hongou san-choume station on the Marunouchi line. The
Nougakubu section of campus also is near Toudaimae station on the Nanboku
