[KS] Kyujanggak Colloquium: Prof. Hugh W. Kang (Thu. Oct. 20)

Dear List Members,

The Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies will hold its 57th Colloquium in Korean Studies next Thursday, Oct. 20 at 12:30. You are cordially invited to attend the lecture by Hugh W. Kang, emeritus professor in history at the University of Hawaii, on the formation of a new status group in the transition from Unified Silla to Koryo.
The talk, which will be held in Korean, is entitled:

"나말려초 姓品制의 형성과 그 역사적 의의"

Light lunch (kimbap will be provided to those attending the colloquium.
