A horrible novel, as Rüdiger already indicated.
As for the correct names and place names from the
KOREAN edition, first published in 1975 under the
title:
P'i hûllin kirûl ttarasô (509 pages), Chônghan Ch'ulp'ansa
Then again, there are really plenty (!) of
historical writings in Korean about all this
(mostly and naturally publications coming from
writers close to the Catholic church), and then
those in German, here especially the two thick
volumes (already mentioned, see last mail for
bibliographic details):
- Der fünfarmige Leuchter: Beiträge zum Werden
und Wirken der Benediktinerkongregation von St.
Ottilien [1971]
- Hwan Gab: 60 Jahre Benediktinermission in Korea
und in der Mandschurei [1973]
Regards,
Frank
