The Dana and David DornsifeCollege of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern Californiain Los Angeles, California, seeks to fill a full-time tenure-track position asAssistant Professor of Korean Social Science, beginning Fall 2013. This endowedassistant professorship will seek a faculty member who does scholarly work inthe social sciences to advance Korean studies in one or more of the prospectiveareas of International Relations, Political Science, Economics, History, EastAsian Languages and Cultures, Religion, Sociology, or other social sciences. Weseek candidates with exceptional promise as scholars and teachers to offercourses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Substantive areas of researchand teaching are open across the social sciences. Candidates should have a PhDby the expected start date, and should have demonstrated the promise of excellencein both research and teaching.
