The Graduate School of Korean Studies (GSKS) aims at nurturing scholars who will contribute to the development and globalization of Korean Studies.

    - Each semester is 15 weeks long.
     ․ Spring semester: March 1 to August 31
     ․ Fall semester: September 1 to February 28
 
󰏅 Financial Aid 
    - Full Tuition Waiver
    - Government Grant: The Government Grant provides selected students with a monthly stipend of KRW 750,000.
   - Other financial aid opportunities: Limited number of RA/TA positions.
 
󰏅 Eligibility
    - All applicants must meet one of the two conditions below. 
  ․ Non-Korean nationals 
     ․ The applicant has completed more than 16 years of education outside of Korea from elementary through college education.

󰏅 Selection Process
   - The Graduate Admission Committee evaluates applicants with comprehensive criteria drawing mainly upon the application form, study plan, personal statement, recommendation letters, language proficiency, previous academic achievements, and future academic plan. 
   - Applicants who have submitted all required documents go through a phone interview if needed. The phone interview result will be considered at the application documents review.

  ◦ Eligibility 
    - The applicant must possess a Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent. 
  ◦ Program Overview
    - Researchers must pay the tuition, and the research period can not be longer than a year. 
    - Research program certificate will be issued to the researchers who have completed the program.
