PRE-20TH CENTURY KOREAN

The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Columbia  
University invites applications for a full-time position in pre-20th  
century Korean History at the Assistant Professor rank, to begin in  
Fall 2012. The Ph.D. must be in hand by time of appointment. The  
appointee will teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and  
is expected to work with fellow faculty in the Department of East  
Asian Languages and Cultures, the History Department, and other  
university institutions in the development of Korean studies research,  
teaching, and programming at Columbia. Please submit a C.V., a cover  
letter with a description of teaching and research interests, a sample  
of written work, dissertation abstract, and three letters of
