[KS] Rutgers Master's Program in East Asian Studies

New Graduate Program

Beginning Fall 2013, the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures will
offer a master’s degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures.* Our faculty
comprised of distinguished scholars will offer courses and training in the
humanities disciplines of literature, history, religion, linguistics and
language. This program is designed for students interested in pursuing a
Ph.D. degree in the U.S. as well as for those who wish to develop a general
interest in East Asian humanities and cultures. Rutgers was recently ranked
as #9 among U.S. universities for arts and humanities (*Times Higher
Education*, U.K., 2012).

The application system will open in late spring 2013.
Deadline for fall admission: August 1
Deadline for spring admission: December 1
