[KS] Call for papers - Activism and its media during the colonial era

Dear colleagues,

this call for paper is on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the  
Chinese journal La Jeunesse (Xin Qingnian), founded in Shanghai in  
September 1915.

However, in this issue the wider thematic field of youth movements in  
modern East Asia will also be discussed. Oriens Extremus seeks  
contributions that focus on concepts and strategies of youth activism  
and its media, including Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese journals and  
newspapers of similar outlook and scope as La Jeunesse, such as Chûô  
kôron, Sin Han ch'ôngnyôn and Taiwan qingnian.
