The Department of East Asian Studies at Princeton University invites applications from scholars who specialize in Korean history or literature for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Ph.D. must be in hand or expected by September 1, 2015.

Candidates should submit a curriculum vitae, detailed letter of application, writing sample (25 pages max), dissertation abstract and chapter outline, and three letters of recommendation. Recommenders should mail their letters directly to Korean History or Literature Search Committee, Department of East Asian Studies, Princeton University, 211 Jones Hall, Princeton, NJ 08544.

Review of applications will begin on October 1, 2014 and will continue until the position is filled.
