The RAS Cinema Club and the Seoul Film Society

There will be showings of great Korean movies, with an introduction and free-wheeling discussion after, at 3pm every first Saturday afternoon of each month.

60th anniversary of The National Academy of Arts of Korea
Meet at Dunkin Donuts, City Hall in Seoul, Korea

RAS Reading Club
Monday, June 2 at 7pm at the Jongno District Office Library. We will be reading "Akeldama" by Park Sang-ryoong. It's #41 from the Asia Publishers Bi-lingual Edition Modern Korean Literature Set 3.
The group discusses a Korean short story in English translation each month. There is a Facebook Group for the RAS-KB Reading Club, from where you can learn about the work to be discussed each time.

Visit to the National Museum of Korea
Wednesday June 11 (NB No visit in May) at 7:00 pm, “Asian gallery.” Every month (not July / August) on the first Wednesday at 7 pm there is a special guided tour in English of one portion of the National Museum’s collections for RAS members.

RAS Photography Workshops
RAS Korea has agreed with “Blue Dalmatian Photography” (founders/instructors Tom Coyner and Sang-bum (“Sang”) Lim) to offer a series of 7 in-depth “RAS Photo Workshops.” The first will be held on Saturday, May 24, starting at 7:00 pm, at Spring Studio in Nonhyon-dong, Seoul. Bookstore
Our office also serves as a bookstore, with many rare and interesting titles about Korea available, with a discount for RAS members. Please phone before visiting, to be sure there will be someone there.
