The RAS Cinema Club with the Seoul Film Society
Saturday 6 September at 3pm: 'Aimless Bullet' (Obaltan). October 4: The Road to Sampo. 
Leaders: Matt VanVolkenburg and Barry Welsh. These are free showings of great Korean movies, with an introduction and free-wheeling discussion after, at 3pm every first Saturday afternoon of each month in Haechi Hall, Seoul Global Cultural Center in Myeongdong, Seoul.

RAS - Business & Culture Club
Anglican Church tour on Sept. 16 (Tue) at noon. Meeting place: at Dunkin Dounts near Daehanmun gate of Deoksugung palace(at 12:00). 
The Business & Culture Club meeting is usually held on every 2nd Tuesday of the month. Please join the Facebook Group of the above name to receive detailed information, or see the RAS home page.

RAS Reading Club
The group discusses a Korean short story in English translation each month. There is a Facebook Group for the RAS-KB Reading Club, from where you can learn about the work to be discussed each time.
Next meeting: Monday, October 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jongno District Office Library. 

RAS Photography Workshops
Tom Coyner offers a series of in-depth “Royal Asiatic Society-Blue Dalmatian Photo Workshops.”

RAS Colloquium in Korean Studies
An informal gathering for the presentation and discussion of research by people engaged in Korean Studies at a serious level. Contact Brother Anthony (ansonjae at sogang.ac.kr) for more information. Next meeting: Saturday, September 20 at 2pm. 

Visit to the National Museum of Korea
Next meeting: Wednesday, Octber 1, meeting at 7 pm in the Museum’s main lobby. Joseon dynasty fetivities.
Every month on the first Wednesday at 7 pm there is a special guided tour in English of one portion of the National Museum’s collections for RAS members.

Bookstore
Our office also serves as a bookstore, with many rare and interesting titles about Korea available, with a discount for RAS members. Please phone before visiting, to be sure there will be someone there.
