>From war-torn ruin to economic juggernaut, South Korea has in less than a
half-century moved to the forefront of international players. What made
this possible? This talk focuses on one key aspect of Korea’s strength: the
Korean people. The behavioral evolution of the Korean population into an
increasingly self-reliant and self-motivated work force is examined in the
context of South Korea’s remarkable postwar development.
