The Chatham House Asia Programme, with the support of the Korea Foundation,
is pleased to invite applications for the 'Creative Power Fellowship'.

 

The successful candidate will be based at Chatham House for a period of six
months, working on the institute's 'Creative Power in the 21st Century'
project.

 

The Fellow will be expected to:

 

*	Author a research paper on 'Creative Powers and Regional Security in
North East Asia' based on his or her research.
*	Help organize one high-level roundtable in London to aid the
Fellow's research on the Creative Powers project and present their working
research at the roundtable.
*	Contribute their expertise to other Asia Programme research projects
and participate in the institute's wider activities.

 



Eligibility Criteria

 

To be eligible for the Creative Powers Fellowship, candidates must:

 

*	Hold citizenship from the Republic of Korea.

*	Have a specialized understanding of security policy and how it
relates to the Korean peninsula, particularly the ROK. Ideally, he or she
will have experience of studying the ROK alongside comparable states, such
as Japan and the UK.

*	Hold a Master's degree or equivalent; a PhD is desirable but not
essential.

*	Have a minimum of 5 years professional work experience in a relevant
field.

*	Have strong English writing and presentation skills; at a minimum
the equivalent of IELTSS band 7.0 or 100 on the internet-based TOEFL and 600
on the paper-based TOEFL.
