The British Korean Veterans Association through the Bursary Committee of
the British Association for Korean Studies is offering bursaries to
undergraduate students on programmes of full-time academic study in

The Scholarship currently has a maximum value of £15,000 per annum, but
the final award will be at the discretion of the Trustees.
The Scholarship offers a suitably qualified candidate the opportunity to
live and work in the Republic of Korea (South Korea) whilst pursuing
postgraduate study. Subject to suitability, the successful candidate
will be able to study for a one or two-year course in the Republic of
Korea. The Scholarship will cover tuition fees, living expenses, return
flight costs and travel insurance. It is expected that the successful
student will travel to the Republic of Korea in March 2016 at the
beginning of the Korean academic year. However, there is some variation
between individual universities as there is also a September entry.
