The UCLA Division of Social Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in any field of the Social Sciences who has strong research and teaching interests in Korean Studies. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. The successful candidate will be a dynamic program builder with a commitment to interdisciplinary teaching and research. She/he will hold a 100% appointment in the department of her/his discipline, but will be expected to participate in the activities of the Center for Korean Studies. Appt. to begin July 1, 2017. To ensure consideration, a completed application must include the following: letter of application, curriculum vitae, statement of research and teaching interests, 2-3 selected publications or dissertation chapters, and the contact information of three references.
