2018년도 한국학중앙연구원 펠로십 프로그램 ▣ 사업 목적국내에 체류하며 한국학 관련 연구를 수행하고자 하는 외국인 한국학자를 초청하여 연구 지원을 통한 해외한국학저변 확대 도모 ▣ 지원 자격인문∙사회과학 각 분야 한국학 관련 전공 외국인(대한민국 국적자의 경우 영주권 보유자)으로서 일정 기간 본원에 체류하면서 연구를 수행하고자 하는 자 1.   중진학자 지원 프로그램: 부교수 이상의 대학교수 또는 박사학위 취득 후 7년 이상의 연구 경력을 지닌 자2.   소장학자 지원 프로그램: 조교수 이하의 대학교수 또는 박사학위 취득 후 7년 미만의 연구경력을 지닌 자3.   박사과정 수료자 지원 프로그램: 해외 대학에서 박사과정을 수료한 자  (국내에서 박사과정을 수료한 자 제외)※ 지원 마감일 기준 3년 이내에 본원 펠로십을 수혜한 자는 신청할 수 없음 ▣ 지원 기간연구 개시일은 2018년 1월 1일부터 12월 31일 사이이며, 시작일로부터 최소 1개월에서 최대 1년까지 지원 가능 ▣ 지원 내용1.   항공료: 왕복 이코노미석 1회 지원(본인에 한함, 국내 체류자 제외)※ 항공료는 실비로 지급하되 2018년도 예산안 편성지침의 국외항공요금을 기준으로 GTR 할인율을 적용한 금액을 초과하지 않음.2. 연구지원비⑴   중진학자 지원 프로그램: 월 250만원⑵   소장학자 지원 프로그램: 월 200만원⑶   박사과정 수료자 지원 프로그램: 월 150만원※    연구지원비는 15일 미만 체류시 계산하지 아니하고, 15일 이상 체류시 1개월로 산정함3. 도서관을 포함한 본원 시설 이용 가능4. 연구원 내 게스트하우스 예약 및 사용료 최대 50% 감면 ▣ 선발 절차요건심사→전문심사(원외 전문심사 패널단)→종합심사(본원 국제교류위원회)→최종선발 및 결과통보  ▣ 선발 기준1.   중진∙소장학자 지원 프로그램⑴ 연구 주제의 우수성 및 본원 체류를 통한 연구 수행의 타당성⑵ 연구 및 강의, 출판 업적(3) 협동강의 또는 공동 연구 가능성2.   박사과정 수료자 지원 프로그램⑴ 연구논문 주제의 타당성 및 우수성⑵ 미래 한국학 발전에의 기여 가능성 ▣ 제출 서류1.   중진∙소장학자 지원 프로그램⑴ 지원신청서(붙임 양식 참조) 1부⑵ 이력서 1부⑶ 재직증명서2.   박사과정 수료자 지원 프로그램⑴ 지원신청서(붙임 양식 참조) 1부⑵ 석∙박사과정 성적증명서 각 1부⑶ 박사과정 수료 증명서(ABD임을 증빙할 수 있는 서류) 1부⑷ 이력서 1부⑸ 추천서 2부(지도교수 포함)※    대한민국 국적자의 경우, 영주권 증빙 서류 제출※    모든 서류는 영어 또는 한국어로 제출해야 함. 기타 언어로 되어 있는 서류는 공증을 받은 번역본을 반드시 첨부토록 함.※    한국학중앙연구원 협동 강의 수행 가능자는 신청서에 명기 ▣ 펠로십 수혜자의 의무1.   연구 기간 종료 전 연구 결과물 제출 및 콜로키움(결과발표) 1회 개최2.   결과물 출판시 본원에 통보 및 2부 제출, 본원 펠로십 수혜의 결과물임을 명시 ▣ 기타사항1.   펠로십 수혜자로 선정된 후 개인사정으로 취소한 경우가 있는 자는 선정시 우선순위에서 불이익을 받을 수 있음2.   연구비 지원과 관련하여 한국정부 및 국내 지원기관으로부터 제재 조치를 받은 후 그 기간이 종료되지 않은 자는 본원 펠로십에 지원할 수 없음 ▣ 접수 마감: 2017. 10. 15.(일)※    마감일 이후 도착 서류는 접수하지 않음 ▣ 결과 통보: 2017년 12월 중 개별 통보 ▣ 제출 방법: 이메일 접수만 가능 (fellowship at aks.ac.kr)
2018 AKS Fellowship Program for Korean Studies The Academy of Korean Studies runs the “AKS Fellowship Program for Korean Studies” in order to provide international scholars and doctoral candidates with an opportunity to carry out their research(dissertation research). EligibilityForeign scholars(including those who have Korean nationality with permanent residence status in foreign countries) in the humanities and social sciences, who are currently engaged in Korea-related teaching and research activities, are eligible to apply.1.    Senior Researcher Fellowship: Associate professor level or above/Ph. D. holder with 7 or more years of research experience2.    Junior Researcher Fellowship: Assistant professor level or below/ Ph. D. holder with less than 7 years of research experience3.    Pre-doctoral Fellowship: Doctoral candidates who have completed all academic requirements except for their dissertation (i.e., ABD) from institutions outside Korea. (※Those who completed their Ph.D. courses at Korean schools or institutions are ineligible for pre-doctoral fellowship)※ Those who have received AKS fellowship within the last 3 years(based on application submission date) are ineligible for this program. Fellowship PeriodThe fellowship period should begin within year 2018(January 1 and December 31, 2018). The applicants can apply for minimum one month to maximum one year support. Fellowship Grant1.    Airfare: Economy-class round trip airfare(Only offered to overseas awardees)※ The airfare will be reimbursed based on the actual ticket price but the reimbursement should not exceed the amount of Government Transportation Request(GTR) cost according to the 2018 budgetary guidelines of international airfare.2.    Monthly Stipend⑴   Senior Research Fellowship: 2,500,000won⑵   Junior Research Fellowship: 2,000,000won⑶   Pre-doctoral Fellowship: 1,500,000won※ Please note that we do not offer monthly stipend for research period less than 15 days and offer full monthly stipend for research period 15 or more days3.    Access to the facilities of AKS including the library4.    Up to 50% discount of AKS Guest House charges Selection ProcessAll applications are reviewed by the screening committee. The criteria for the screening are as follows: Selection Criteria1. If not, the certified translation document(English or Korean) must be attached.※ Applicants who can give lectures in AKS, please specify in the application form Obligations of Fellowship Recipients1.    Fellows are expected to submit their research paper and present research results at AKS Colloquium before the termination of their research period2.    Fellows should inform AKS when the research results are published and should submit 2 copies of the publication3.    Publication resulted from this program should acknowledge the support from the AKS Fellowship Program Others1.    Previous fellowship recipients who have rejected the fellowship due to their personal matters can get disadvantages when screening2.    Those who are under disciplinary actions from Korean government and other Korean government affiliated institutes are not eligible for this program Application DeadlineAll applications must be received by October 15(Sunday), 2017.※ Applicants should submit the required documents(scan file) by e-mail only.※ Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
