[KS] Kyujanggak Symposium

Dear List Members,


I am pleased to share with you the program of next week's international Korean Studies Symposium on the theme of "Conflict, Reconciliation, and Records." It will comprise two keynote speeches, by Jang Inseong (Seoul N'l Univ.) and James Lewis (Oxford Univ.), followed by six panels. The panels deal with the conference theme in various fields and time periods, including modern literature, performance art, and pre-modern history.

The symposium will take place at the Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies and at the Asia Center just opposite, on August 23 and 24 (Thursday and Friday). Please refer to the attached program for full details about the conference.
