[KS] Genell Y. Poitras

I have only just discovered that Genell Y. Poitras died on September 24, 2017 in Park Rapids, MN. She was the wife of Rev. Edward W. Poitras, and they are both among the earlier translators of Korean literature. She published The cry of the harp and other Korean short stories by Chŏng-hŭi Ch'oe and The Cruel city and other Korean short stories by Chŏng-hŭi Ch'oe  in 1983, and other works, too. She and her husband moved to Korea in 1959 and left in 1989. Those who were living in Korea in those distant times might remember them, as I do, fondly.
