Dear colleagues,
How are you doing ? It is a pleasure for me to contact you today.

You are a *specialist of Korean studies in the field of social sciences*,
working in Europe, and you have published your work (book, chapter of book,
Journal paper, etc...) during the last 5 years ? You would like to
*share* *your
research with your European colleagues* and benefit from discussions about
it ? Or you would like to *discuss about some published works* ? So, don't
hesitate to take into consideration this Call for "publication
presentation" about Korean studies in the field of social sciences in
Europe.

After a meeting with some of us last June in Turku, thanks to the
invitation of Dr. Jeongim HYUN, I have accepted to organize in France this
year a second meeting in order to contribute to the development of the
Korean studies in the field of social sciences in Europe as a network.
This time, I would like to propose you to come to Paris*, Friday, 31st of
August- Saturday, 1st September 2018*, to present your work (5 presenters),
or to discuss others works (10 discussants).
The goal is to offer to all of us the possibility to discover new works, to
have enough time to exchange points of view about it, and possibly to spark
off new European scientific collaborations.

Dr. Eunsil YIM, anthropologist, newly recruited in Paris Diderot
University as associate professor, has kindly accepted to organize this
workshop with me. This year we have received a grant from the AKS : it
will cover the travel and hotel fees for the ones (presenters and
discussants) coming from outside Paris.

1- We invite you to let me know *before June 11, 2018* if you wish to
present to us one of your recently published work, and/or if you could be
interested to be discussant. (Please send us a PDF file version of your
work or an internet link to get it.)

2- We will select about 5 publications in different fields of
social-sciences as *Anthropology, Sociology, Political-Sciences,
International relations, Economy, Geography and contemporary History*, in
early June and we will let you know our choice and ask you to be
discussants according to your speciality and wish.

The workshop of the 31st of August- 1st September 2018 will be opened to
all interested colleagues, not only presenters and discussants.

Don't hesitate to transfer this invitation to your colleagues as you may
wish.

Hoping to hear from you soon,
Best regards to all.
